MOLESKINE COVER / PORTADA MOLESKINE

This is the cover for my new MOLESKINE sketchbook. And it´s great ´cause it´s a traditional notebook that is oftenly used by European artists and intellectuals for the last century. This was a great gift given to us (the Kaboomers) by our good friend Héctor Garza from the "Festivalito Comiquero" ("Little Comic Festival") here in Mexico City. A great gift and the size is perfect to carry it anywhere.

Now we can do some cool doodles in it to show, just like Mattías Adolfsson An amazing artist who uses them too!

¡Esta es la portada de mi nuevo cuaderno de bocetos MOLESKINE. Ya que es un cuaderno de notas utilizado comunmente por artistas e intelectuales europeos del último siglo, Este fué un increíble regalo que nos hicieron a todos los Kaboones por nuestro gran amigo Héctor Garza quín nos invito a el "Festivalito Comiquero" aquí en México. Un excelente regalo de muy buen tamaño para llevar a dónde sea.

Ahora podremos hacer algunos buenos garabatos para mostrarles, cómo Mattías Adolfsson ¡Un increíble artista que los utiliza constantemente!

WALT DISNEY / READER'S DIGEST

This is the illustration Reader's Digest magazine picked to be printed of the great hero-of-all: Walt Disney.

I believe that some of the runner ups i did were better than the one that was selected, what do you think?. They insisted, though, that they didn't wanted something that reminded them of any of Disney's characters so they wouldn't have any licence issues... sooo, c'est la vie. I still liked the winner, published in the 2008 November edition, so check it out!

Este es la ilustración que la revista Reader's Digest escogió para imprimir sobre el héroe-de-todos: Walt Disney.

Creo que algunas de mis propuestas eran mejores que la que fue seleccionada, pero suele pasar. Ellos  no deseaban algo que les recordara a ninguno de los personajes de Disney por no infringir ninguna licencia con ello, así que... c'est la vie. De cualquier manera me gustó el ganador, publicado en la edición de Noviembre del 2008, ¡Así que chéquenla!
